A critical (also known as a "critical strike" or "crit") is an attack modifier that multiplies the base damage of a Demigod's attack. The critical modifier is granted by certain items and having more than one critical-granting item will stack the chance to critical and the damage multiplier multiplicatively. Critical chances are evaluated independently, meaning if there is a 10% chance to critical from an item and a 20% chance from another item, the 10% chance could fail but the attack could still be modified by the 20% chance critical if it activates. Having both critical chances activate would happen in a 1 out of 50 chance (0.1 x 0.2 x 100 = 2, which is 2 in 100 or 1 in 50). When all the chances to critical have been checked, the damage multipliers from the successful critical hits are multiplied together. This means that if a 2x damage critical and a 3x damage critical are successful then a 6x critical would result (2 x 3 = 6). Skills can not score a critical hit and buildings can have a critical scored on them.
